Brahmaputra Infrastructure receives ₹114 crore railway contract from North Central Railway

Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for a major civil construction contract worth approximately ₹114.24 crore from the North Central Railway, Jhansi Division – Gati Shakti Unit.
According to the company’s exchange filing dated May 19, 2026, the contract has been awarded to SB BIL JV, a joint venture involving the company, for the construction of multiple two-lane Road Over Bridges (ROBs) along key railway sections under the North Central Railway network.
The project involves end-to-end construction of ROBs, including approaches, in lieu of railway level crossings across three locations:
LC No. 40 on the Gwalior–Bhind section
LC No. 398 on the Jhansi–Gwalior section
LC No. 315 on the Jhansi–Bina section.
The total contract value stands at ₹1,14,24,87,814.36, and the project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the date of issuance of the LOA.
The company stated that the contract is governed by Railway Board guidelines, General Conditions of Contract (GCC) 2022, the Contract and Labour Act, and GST regulations. The order is domestic in nature.
Further disclosures in the filing clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority and that the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
The company said the disclosure has been made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
