MTAR Tech bags large order worth Rs 2,279 crore from an international entity

MTAR Technologies Limited on Wednesday said it has received international purchase orders worth $238.76 million, equivalent to approximately ₹2,278.96 crore, from an existing overseas customer.
In an exchange filing, the company said the orders are in continuation of regular business from the existing client. The customer’s identity has not been disclosed due to confidentiality reasons.
The orders have been classified as blanket purchase orders and have been awarded by an international entity. MTAR Technologies stated that the execution timeline for the contracts will be decided at a later stage.
The company further clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity and that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
MTAR Technologies is a precision engineering solutions company catering to sectors such as clean energy, civil nuclear power, aerospace and defence, and space. The company is known for manufacturing mission-critical precision components and assemblies for leading global and domestic clients.
Over the past few years, MTAR has strengthened its presence in high-growth segments including hydrogen energy, fuel cells and nuclear applications, while also expanding relationships with global OEMs and strategic customers.
The latest order win is expected to strengthen the company’s order book visibility and reinforce its position in the international precision engineering and clean energy supply chain ecosystem.
Shares of MTAR Technologies are likely to remain in focus following the announcement of the large international order inflow.
