Pace Digitek bags ₹264.6 crore BSNL contract for BharatNet project in Sikkim

Pace Digitek has secured a new order worth ₹264.65 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for BharatNet-related telecom infrastructure work in Sikkim.

In an exchange filing dated May 20, the company said the contract involves the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle mile network of BharatNet in the Sikkim Telecom Circle.

The total contract value stands at ₹2646.50 million, including GST, equivalent to around ₹264.65 crore. The project has been awarded by a domestic entity and is scheduled to be completed within 1,095 days from the appointed date.

The company clarified that the order does not fall under related-party transactions and that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity.

BharatNet is one of the Government of India’s flagship digital infrastructure initiatives aimed at providing broadband connectivity to rural and remote areas across the country. The latest order is expected to strengthen Pace Digitek’s presence in the telecom infrastructure and network deployment segment.

Pace Digitek, formerly known as Pace Digitek Private Limited and Pace Digitek Infra Private Limited, operates in telecom and digital infrastructure solutions, including network deployment and maintenance services.
