The project involves the construction of a 4-lane major bridge over the Ganga River with a footpath on Bhairoghat Dhobighat Jalkal Campus, connecting Trans Ganga City to Kanpur City. The scope also includes approach roads and protection works in Kanpur district, Uttar Pradesh.
According to the company’s exchange filing, the quoted bid price for the project stands at ₹571.81 crore. The JV has been declared the first lowest bidder upon opening of price bids on May 13, 2026.

The company also clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority. It further stated that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
PNC Infratech is one of India’s major infrastructure construction companies with a strong presence across highways, expressways, bridges, airport runways and water infrastructure projects. In recent quarters, the company has continued to focus on expanding its order book amid increasing government spending on road and transport infrastructure.
The latest project win is expected to strengthen the company’s transportation infrastructure portfolio, particularly in Uttar Pradesh, where it already has a significant execution presence.
