RailTel Corporation of India has secured a new order from the Ministry of Railways for the provision of an AI-based surveillance system at New Delhi Railway Station.
In an exchange filing dated May 14, 2026, the company said the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, awarded the project through a letter dated May 13, 2026.
The project involves deployment of an artificial intelligence-based surveillance system aimed at enhancing monitoring and security infrastructure at one of India’s busiest railway stations.
RailTel stated that the financial consideration for the order has not yet been finalised and will be informed separately at a later stage.
According to the filing, the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and the execution timeline will also be communicated separately.
