Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on May 26 announced the launch of its SovereignSecure Cloud in Europe, expanding its global cloud portfolio with a solution designed specifically for governments, public sector enterprises and regulated industries.

The company said the new offering combines sovereign cloud architecture with AI capabilities to help enterprises maintain sovereignty across data, operations and digital infrastructure while ensuring regulatory compliance and security.

According to TCS, the launch follows the successful rollout of SovereignSecure Cloud in India in 2025, after which the company expanded the offering into Kenya, East Africa and the Philippines.

The company said the European Union offering is designed to help enterprises achieve digital autonomy and strengthen compliance standards without compromising agility, interoperability and operational efficiency.

TCS stated that the platform follows a multi-layered sovereign cloud approach. It combines sovereign cloud delivery through hyperscalers with national sovereign cloud layers that enable country-specific data localisation, while also integrating unified control and orchestration capabilities through the TCS Enterprise Cloud Framework.

Saptagiri Chapalapalli, Head of Europe at TCS, said European organisations are increasingly trying to balance supply chain and sovereignty risks while remaining globally competitive.

“TCS SovereignSecure Cloud solutions mark an important milestone for TCS in Europe, as our customers can now benefit from a pragmatic approach to cloud that ensures resilience and sovereignty that is contextualized to the enterprise,” he said.

TCS also announced the introduction of its Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework in the European Union. The framework aims to help enterprises determine the appropriate level of sovereignty protection based on workload sensitivity, sector requirements and operational risks.

The company said the demand for secure, compliant and sovereign cloud architectures is rising as enterprises and governments across Europe accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

Operating in Europe for over 45 years, TCS currently runs a delivery network comprising 10 data centres and 21 delivery locations across the region.
