Welspun Corp today announced that it has received a large export order worth approximately ₹700 crore for the supply of LSAW pipes from its US facility, according to an exchange filing.
The company said the latest order, along with contracts secured since its previous announcement on March 30, 2026, has taken its consolidated global order book to ₹25,350 crore, equivalent to nearly US$2.6 billion. Welspun Corp added that the strong order inflow provides clear business visibility and continuity for both its India and US operations.
The newly secured order will be executed during FY27 and FY28, the company said in its filing with the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements.
LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) pipes are widely used in oil & gas transportation, water infrastructure and energy transmission projects. Welspun Corp is among the world’s major manufacturers of large-diameter pipes and has a significant presence in both domestic and export markets.
The order win comes amid sustained momentum in global energy infrastructure investments and pipeline development projects, especially in North America and the Middle East. The company has been focusing on strengthening its export pipeline business while improving utilisation levels across its manufacturing facilities.
Welspun Corp had earlier indicated that a healthy order pipeline across geographies, coupled with demand from water and hydrocarbon segments, is expected to support growth over the medium term. The company’s expanding order book is also seen as improving revenue visibility for the next two financial years.
