DEE Development Engineers Q4 Results: Net profit declines 12%, margin contracts

DEE Development Engineers Ltd reported mixed quarterly earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, as strong revenue growth was offset by margin pressure and lower profitability.

The company posted consolidated revenue from operations of ₹361.57 crore in Q4 FY26, compared with ₹286.37 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a growth of 26.3% year-on-year.

However, net profit for the quarter declined to ₹27.68 crore from ₹31.51 crore reported in Q4 FY25, reflecting a fall of 12.2% YoY.

Operationally, EBITDA remained largely flat at ₹63.6 crore compared with ₹63.5 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA margin, however, contracted sharply to 17.6% from 22.2% reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

Profit before tax stood at ₹37.88 crore during the March quarter against ₹42.30 crore reported a year ago. Total tax expense for the quarter came in at ₹10.20 crore.

Among key expense items, cost of materials consumed rose to ₹126.72 crore, while employee benefit expenses stood at ₹48.52 crore. Finance costs during the quarter were reported at ₹15.90 crore, while depreciation and amortisation expenses came in at ₹13.88 crore.

Other expenses for the quarter stood at ₹57.87 crore, while consumption of stores and spare parts was reported at ₹18.62 crore.

Total comprehensive income during the quarter stood at ₹29.10 crore compared with ₹31.65 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter came in at ₹4.00 against ₹4.56 reported in Q4 FY25.
