Devyani International Q4 loss narrows to ₹9.84 crore; revenue rises 18.5%

Devyani International Limited reported an improvement in its quarterly performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, with revenue growth remaining strong and losses narrowing on a year-on-year basis.
The company’s consolidated revenue from operations rose 18.5% YoY to ₹1,436.86 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹1,212.59 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹220.35 crore, up 18.5% from ₹185.99 crore reported in Q4 FY25. EBITDA margin remained flat at 15.34%.
Despite higher revenue, Devyani International reported a consolidated net loss of ₹9.84 crore for the quarter, compared to a loss of ₹16.76 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income during the quarter came in at ₹1,451.01 crore versus ₹1,225.76 crore in Q4 FY25. Total expenses rose to ₹1,469.09 crore from ₹1,247.91 crore a year ago.
Employee benefits expense stood at ₹209.29 crore during the quarter, while depreciation and amortisation expenses were reported at ₹182.48 crore. Finance costs came in at ₹70.10 crore.
The company reported a pre-tax loss from continuing operations of ₹18.13 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to a pre-tax loss of ₹22.35 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Loss from continuing operations after tax stood at ₹13.39 crore. However, the company reported profit from discontinued operations after tax at ₹3.55 crore during the quarter, helping narrow the overall net loss.
Total comprehensive loss for the quarter stood at ₹15.02 crore, compared to a comprehensive loss of ₹16.10 crore in Q4 FY25.
Basic loss per share from continuing and discontinued operations stood at ₹0.08 for the quarter ended March 2026.
