LG Electronics India Ltd (LGE India) reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue for Q4FY26, supported by broad-based demand recovery, premiumisation trends and strong growth across key consumer electronics categories.
Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹8,054 crore, rising 8.1% year-on-year from ₹7,448 crore reported in Q4FY25. EBITDA came in at ₹945 crore compared to ₹1,048 crore in the year-ago quarter, while profit after tax stood at ₹693 crore against ₹755 crore in Q4FY25.
The company reported an EBITDA margin of 11.7% during the quarter. Management said margins were impacted by rupee depreciation and elevated commodity prices, though the company remains optimistic about gradual improvement through cost discipline, localisation and operational efficiency initiatives.
LGE India said the strong quarterly performance was driven by continued premiumisation momentum led by large-panel televisions, French-door refrigerators, fully automatic washing machines and 5-star-rated air conditioners. The company also maintained leadership across major product categories while continuing to focus on its “Make-in-India, Make-for-India and Make-India-Global” strategy.
Within segments, the Home Appliance and Air Solutions business generated revenue of ₹6,516 crore in Q4FY26, up 5.7% YoY. Premium categories including fully automatic washing machines, French-door refrigerators and 5-star ACs performed strongly during the quarter, while dishwashers also emerged as a growth driver. Segment EBIT stood at ₹775 crore versus ₹888 crore in Q4FY25.
The Home Entertainment segment posted revenue growth of 19.6% YoY, reaching ₹1,537 crore in Q4FY26. Growth was supported by strong demand for large-screen televisions, aided by Cricket World Cup viewership and increasing consumer preference for 55-inch and larger TVs. The company said it maintained leadership in the premium TV category, with OLED TV market share at 60% as of March 2026. Segment EBIT stood at ₹206 crore compared to ₹209 crore in the year-ago period.
On the B2B front, the company said its Information Display business recorded strong growth during the quarter, while its HVAC business continued to expand in the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Cassette AC segments.
For FY26, LG Electronics India reported revenue from operations of ₹24,605 crore, up 1% YoY. The company also announced that its manufacturing plants signed long-term solar power purchase agreements with Hinduja Renewable Energy and Sunsure Energy, marking its first captive renewable energy project in India.
Looking ahead to FY27, the company said it plans to expand exports of its Essential Series products to 22 countries across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, while continuing to strengthen its premium portfolio, B2B business and manufacturing capacities.
