Several stocks are showing bullish technical momentum after witnessing a “Golden Cross” pattern on charts, a key indicator closely tracked by technical analysts. A Golden Cross occurs when a stock’s 50-day moving average (DMA) crosses above its 200-day moving average, signalling potential long-term upward momentum.
Among the stocks currently showing this pattern are MSP Steel & Power, Ratnaveer Precision Engineering, Ramkrishna Forgings, Gokul Refoils and Solvent, Dolphin Offshore Enterprises, and Carborundum Universal.
MSP Steel & Power Ltd (MSPL) was trading around ₹41.41, up over 2% on the day. The stock’s 50 DMA stood at 33.97, marginally above the 200 DMA of 33.96, while the stock traded nearly 22% above the crossover level, indicating strong momentum continuation.
Ratnaveer Precision Engineering Ltd also featured on the bullish screeners list. The stock traded at ₹182.61 with the 50 DMA at 151.65 and the 200 DMA at 151.23. The stock remained more than 20% above the crossover zone, reflecting sustained buying interest.
Carborundum Universal Ltd was another notable stock showing a Golden Cross setup. The stock traded around ₹1,071.3, significantly above both its 50 DMA of 883.19 and 200 DMA of 882.67, indicating strong trend strength despite mild intraday weakness.
Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd (RKFORGE) and Dolphin Offshore Enterprises also appeared on the screeners list after their 50 DMA moved above the 200 DMA. RK Forgings traded around ₹558.5, while Dolphin Offshore was seen near ₹414.
Gokul Refoils and Solvent Ltd also witnessed the bullish crossover pattern with both key moving averages placed near ₹39.96, while the stock traded above ₹41 levels.
In technical analysis, Golden Cross patterns are generally considered medium-to-long-term bullish indicators, particularly when accompanied by strong volumes and sustained price action above both moving averages. However, analysts also caution that traders should monitor broader market trends and company-specific fundamentals before taking investment decisions.
