NRB Bearing, Praj Industries among stocks showing golden cross technical setup

Several stocks across sectors are currently exhibiting a “golden cross” technical setup, a closely watched chart pattern that traders and technical analysts often associate with strengthening long-term momentum.
Among the stocks appearing on the screen are NRB Bearing, IGIL, Praj Industries, Advanced Enzyme Technologies, Arman Financial Services and Ruby Mills, all of which are trading above both their 50-day moving averages (50-DMA) and 200-day moving averages (200-DMA).
NRB Bearing was trading around ₹375.45, nearly 35% above its 50-DMA of ₹278.86 and 200-DMA of ₹278.09, indicating one of the strongest momentum structures among the counters shown.
Advanced Enzyme Technologies, despite trading lower during the session, was still more than 21% above both key averages, while Praj Industries and IGIL remained over 10% above their medium- and long-term moving averages.
In technical analysis, a “golden cross” occurs when a stock’s 50-day moving average crosses above its 200-day moving average. The setup is widely interpreted as a signal that medium-term momentum has turned strong enough to support a broader long-term uptrend.
The pattern is often monitored by institutional traders, swing traders and algorithmic systems because it reflects improving price strength over an extended period rather than a short-term spike.
Stocks trading significantly above both averages after a golden cross generally indicate sustained buying momentum and relative outperformance versus the broader market.
However, analysts also monitor how far prices move away from these averages. A very large distance from the 50-DMA or 200-DMA can sometimes suggest that a stock has become technically stretched in the near term, which may lead to periods of consolidation or volatility.
The current screen indicates continued relative strength across select industrial, financial and specialty manufacturing names despite mixed broader market trends.
