PNC Infratech Q4 profit jumps 43% despite sharp margin contraction

PNC Infratech Ltd reported a strong rise in quarterly earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, although operational profitability weakened significantly during the period.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹107.76 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹75.44 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a growth of 42.9% year-on-year.

Revenue from operations stood at ₹1,616.98 crore during the March quarter, compared to ₹1,704.11 crore in Q4 FY25, reflecting a decline of 5.1% YoY.

Operationally, EBITDA came in at ₹277.12 crore in Q4 FY26 against ₹362.34 crore in the year-ago period, marking a sharp decline. EBITDA margin contracted to 17.1% from 21.2% reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

Profit before tax stood at ₹154.77 crore during the quarter compared with ₹151 crore in Q4 FY25. Total tax expense for the quarter was reported at ₹47.01 crore.

Finance costs declined sharply to ₹137.03 crore from ₹233.24 crore reported a year ago, while depreciation and amortisation expense stood at ₹35.23 crore.

Total comprehensive income for the quarter came in at ₹108.81 crore against ₹77.19 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. Earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹4.20 for Q4 FY26 compared with ₹2.94 in Q4 FY25.
