Timken India Q4 Results: Net profit falls 17% YoY despite double-digit revenue growth

Timken India Ltd reported a decline in quarterly profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, even as the company posted healthy revenue growth during the period.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹158.31 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹190.31 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a decline of 16.8% year-on-year.
Revenue from operations, however, increased to ₹1,089.83 crore during the March quarter from ₹951.46 crore in Q4 FY25, registering a growth of 14.5% YoY.
Operationally, EBITDA stood at ₹241.78 crore in Q4 FY26 compared with ₹214.16 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting an increase of 12.9% YoY. EBITDA margin came in at 22.18% as against 22.51% in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Total income for the quarter stood at ₹1,090.64 crore, compared to ₹965.68 crore a year earlier.
On the cost front, purchases of stock-in-trade rose to ₹309.67 crore from ₹237.25 crore in Q4 FY25, while employee benefit expenses stood at ₹49 crore against ₹43.94 crore in the year-ago period. Other expenses increased to ₹145.12 crore from ₹127.26 crore a year earlier.
Profit before tax for the quarter came in at ₹212.03 crore compared with ₹206.22 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total tax expenses rose sharply to ₹53.72 crore from ₹15.91 crore in Q4 FY25, impacting the company’s bottom line.
The company reported earnings per share (EPS) of ₹21.05 for the quarter, compared to ₹25.30 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
The board has also recommended a dividend of ₹10 per fully paid-up equity share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.
